An Empty Wall but No Subject in Mind?
Many of our clients don't come with a photo, but with a space: a new living room, a freshly renovated bedroom or an office that still feels impersonal. Just show us your room. We'll suggest subjects and paint your piece in the colours already there – your sofa, cushions, curtains, flooring or walls. That way the painting feels like part of the room rather than something added on. If you like, we can add a deliberate accent colour or keep the palette calm and harmonious.
Which Size Is Right for You?
Above a sofa, bed or sideboard, a painting should be about two-thirds of the furniture's width and hang 15 to 25 cm above it. Smaller sizes suit portraits of one person or pet, hallways, bedrooms or gifts. For several people or animals in one painting, we recommend a larger size so every face has room for detail. Send us the measurements of your wall and furniture, and we'll recommend the right format.
What Kind of Photo Works Best?
A sharp, well-lit photo where faces or details are clearly visible. Daylight is ideal; flash and heavy filters are best avoided. You can also combine several photos – for example, people and pets from different pictures in one painting – or change the background.
