"Facets of Petals" draws from the language of flowers without depicting them literally. Instead of petals and stems, you get the sensation — the lightness, the layering, the way natural forms seem to open outward. The palette is warm and restrained: cream, soft beige, with flickers of gold catching the light.

The acrylic texture is the centrepiece of the work. Each layer is built up by hand, creating dimensional forms across the canvas that change character as the light shifts. In morning light it reads as soft and pale. By evening, the gold accents come alive.
